The Hilti ED 3500-A and MD 2500 adhesive dispensers have been discontinued and replaced by the HDE 500-A18 and the HDM 500 respectively.  The new Hilti HDE 500-A18 Compact Cordless Adhesive Dispenser and the manual HDM 500 Adhesive Dispenser are ideal for adhesive anchor and rebar applications, making installation quick and easy. Unlike the ED 3500-A and MD 2500, which had removable cartridge holders, the 500-A18 and the HDM 500 feature cartridge holders that swivel and snap into place.  Contractors benefit from even faster cartridge changes—gone are the days of having to put the tool down to reload.

The cordless HDE 500-A18 features an adjustable dosing mechanism that allows contractors to set the desired adhesive amount with each pull of the trigger, making this tool ideal for repetitive embedment depths.  This new feature eliminates guess work and reduces excess oozing, providing a uniform installation.  Both the HDE 500-A18 Compact Cordless Adhesive Dispenser and the HDM 500 Manual Adhesive Dispenser accept Hilti 11.1 ounce and 16.9 ounce (330 ml and 500 ml) adhesive foil pack cartridges.
