HILTI S-MS HVAC Zip Screws

Screws used for HVAC duct applications have gone largely unchanged for many years. Contractors have traditionally chosen between sharp and self-drilling screws for HVAC duct fabrication and installation.  Sharps are ideal for off-angle fastening but are only appropriate for use with light gauge metal.  Self-drilling HVAC screws are suited for heavier gauge duct materials but are prone to “walking” if not held perpendicular.
